Gary has worked in the public, private and third sector achieving senior management level in all three. He has worked the manager of children’s services, director of two companies (a children’s Nursery and a company the provided respite care for adults with profound learning difficulties) and to different charities. One of Gary’s passions is music and when he became the head of the Arch-Way project he was determined to use music as a vehicle to attract new service users to the organisation. Since then the charity has flourished with over 300 service users attending regularly. The Arch-Way project’s youngest service users is a 7 year old girl on the autistic spectrum and the eldest celebrated her 101st birthday in 2016 who is a lady living with dementia. Music is a unique was of promoting health and well-being and the Arch-Way project is a leading light in this intervention.
