Saya

Saya is a multipotential artistic force, music researcher and anti-racist activist. Born in Santiago de Compostela, with Palestinian roots and based in Porto, she stands out as a multi-genre DJ influenced by the cultural and artistic universes around her. Trained as a Pharmacist, VDJ and Sound Technician, and in Music Business at Arda Academy, she combines her work as a DJ and activist with production, curatorship and artistic expressions such as photography, videography and sound experimentation with field recordings. With a strong commitment to cultural activism, she develops an inclusive vision applied to curatorship and often participates in talks, interviews and workshops on anti-racism, decolonial practices and DJing.
